TaxRebase is the pioneer firm in private family residence sequencing. We act for families establishing permanent residence in Cyprus, and settle a single plan for the whole of their affairs before any specialist is engaged.
A residence of this kind is rarely a single decision. It is a sequence of them, taken across several professions, and a family that takes them in the wrong order can commit to a position it is later unable to undo.
Our Firm
TaxRebase is an independent advisory firm to families establishing permanent residence in Cyprus. Our place is above the individual professions such a residence calls upon, not among them: our concern is the whole of a family’s position, not any single service within it. It is a vantage few are built to occupy, and the reason a family answers to one judgment rather than to five in isolation.
Candour
The first question we answer is whether a Cyprus residence should be undertaken at all. It is a question much of the market is not built to ask, because its business begins only once the answer is yes. We ask it first, as a matter of practice, and we are prepared for the answer to be no.
The assessment is made on two counts. The first is whether a Cyprus residence would materially improve the family’s position in tax, in succession and in the ordering of their wealth. The second is whether the climate, the administration, the schooling and the ordinary rhythm of life in Cyprus would suit a family that has not lived there before.
Where the balance of the two is weak, we say so, and we decline the engagement. Not every family that considers Cyprus should establish a residence there.

Our Approach
A Cyprus residence rests on decisions in several disciplines at once. Residence law, tax position, property, corporate structure and banking each follow an order of their own, and each constrains the others. Taken out of sequence, they produce a position that is sound in form and unsound in substance.
We hold that sequence. Each specialist is engaged to settle one decision at a time, once it has been agreed on its own merits, and in the order that keeps the others open. What results is a position that answers to examination, and not merely to appearance.
An order set at the outset can be honoured. One discovered too late cannot be repaired.
Independence
Our independence is structural. We hold no proprietary product and bind no family to a single channel of execution, which leaves us free to shape the plan around the family’s position and not around anything of our own we need to place. Independence of this kind is a matter of how we are built, and not of assurances we give.
Our Network
Execution is placed with a curated network of licensed Cyprus firms, each chosen for a single discipline and called upon only for the stage that requires it. Throughout, a family deals with us, and not with the firms we coordinate.
